Ok, this is further effects of my work on dreadnought convertion, that I posted earlier on.
U can see, that I added a lot of things on it. Legs are covered by plates from razorback (the one, that cover heavy bolter), and also on sides of his legs u can see some servo-motors from techmarine. I also turned banner into his tabard, and I putted little clinchy thing on front of his torso (I thinks it really fits in there). Apart from that I added another set of plates from dreadnought legs on hips of this one, and as I planed - twin exhaust from imperial sentinel on his back. U can also see some little ads from tau on missile launcher. (which accualy I decided to remove ^^) Hope U n'joy it. Comments are welcome. |

Now all you need to do is decide on a chapter, and decide if its a veteran on thousands of battles, and paint it as such. see if you can get/make some purity seals, they give a good impression of age.
Little Tau accent is made on purpose.
Basic idea of using this model is in 2vs2 games, in aliiance with tau against necrons and dark eldars/orks.
We came up with idea of adding little things like this in allied armies.
2 be honest I'm not sure how will it comes out, but I guess we'll see.
I must say I am thinkin about replaceing it with a long pice of wire...
In the end if I won't be happy with results i may chop it of (got some terminators with chainfist ready to take care of it ^^)

Chapter? I decided to create my own one. Something between Space Wolves and Iron Hands; very nordic/cybernetic bad ass army, in White Council colors, and with my own iconography
Purity seals? Got like 50 in my bitz box; I'll think about it

I only say about the purity seals cos its a very unique sort of dreadnought, and i think to myself "why has customisation been allowed? He must have proved himself somehow, or been an old captain who fell in battle" End of the day, its your choice, and I'm sure whatever you decide to go with will look phenomenal.
